Postponed release will hopefully get a new date soon
Death Come True—the live-action mystery game from publisher Izanagi Games and developer Too Kyo Games—launched on Switch and mobile devices back in June, followed by PC in July. The PS4 version was scheduled to arrive next on October 15, but it hit a snag and has now been delayed indefinitely.
According to an official tweet, this came about "due to an issue flagged up requiring a fix after passing the SIE QA test." Now the release is postponed, and at the time of this writing there's no updated release date in place.
Death Comes True stars the likes of Kanata Hongo, Chiaki Kuriyama, Win Morisaki, and Yuki Kaji, among others. Here's the official description:
"A new wave interactive movie game" where your actions, and the ending of the story, are determined by your choices.
A completely new science fiction mystery, in full-length live-action movie format, from genius creator of the "Danganronpa" series, Kazutaka Kodaka.
Player controls are simple and straightforward: just swipe to look around and tap to make a selection. Even if you are a beginner, you can enjoy the game as if you were watching a movie.
The protagonist acts as you make choices in each scene, moving the story forward.
What ending awaits you after you've made your choices?
